Summer-time Family Fun

Summer days at the farm are the best in New Jersey because of the SWEET JERSEY ICED CORN!!!  We stay busy all spring planting row after row of corn seeds so that we will be ready to provide you with the sweetest corn for your summer barbecues! Take a hayride tour of the farm and stop in the cornfield to pick your own or purchase some at our Farm Market!

We are carrying over the sweetness of Strawberry Season into summer-time with Blackberries and Raspberries.  Come on out late June into July and Pick Yourself some Jersey Fresh Fruit!  We offer acres and acres of fresh berries for U-Pick as well as for sale in our Farm Market.

JERSEY TOMATOES!! That’s right we are growing the famous, plump and sweet Jersey Tomatoes! Pick them up at our roadside stand or take a hayride to pick your own! Use in a salad or just slice them to eat with a little bit of salt and pepper! Yum. Don’t have time to slice up a tomato? Try our berry tomatoes – a tomato the size and shape of a strawberry, the kids will love picking these. Just wash and enjoy these bite sized snacks!

Cantaloupes, Squash, Watermelons and sunflowers! All ready to pick during the summer! Our cantaloupes are sweet and juicy, yellow squash and zucchini are perfect for grilling with a little bit of Italian dressing, and sunflowers and zinnias will work beautifully for decorating your table!

Coming Summer of 2017: Peaches!

Take a Hayride out to pick your own fresh jersey summer crops or stop in our farm market for some fresh produce!!!

And don’t worry, all of the locust trees around the farm provide plenty of shade so that you can cool down from the summer sun too!!

Summer is also a wonderful time for birthday party and crop picking tours!
