Four Season of Pick Your Own and Family Fun
Each of the four seasons of the year have unique beauties and opportunities at Johnson’s Locust Hall Farm.
Spring-time at the Farm – The Johnson Farm family prepares the fields for a variety of crops to enjoy late spring thru late fall. In Spring, you can pick your own Radishes, Snap peas, Spinach and Strawberries.
Summer-time at the Farm – Summer is a busy time for maintaining and watering the crops. In Summer, you can pick your own Raspberries, Blackberries, Sunflowers, Peaches, Corn, Tomatoes, Peppers, Eggplant, Squash and Melons.
Fall at the Farm – Farm work gets a little lighter, just in time for the many visitors who come to explore the Corn Maze and pick autumn crops. In Fall, you can pick your own Apples, Pumpkins, Broccoli, Kale, Brussels Sprouts, Indian Corn and Popcorn.
Winter-time at the Farm – When the outside work slows down, the bakery picks up. The Farm Market is open every Saturday during the winter. Here, you can enjoy a warm baked good on a cold day, do some Holiday Shopping for beautiful, farm-inspired gifts, order Holiday Pies, and take home some Grass-fed Beef and Cage-free Eggs from our farm. It’s a great time to plan a party here for later in the year and sign up for the CSA and Beef Box programs (these also make wonderful gifts)!
